The book sounds great, but I don't think I could get over that She must be willing to sacrifice the things she holds dear to stop the destruction and death that is coming their way. From the thousands of evil, tortured souls that prey on humanity.
And I suppose I do like Billi. They decided that Chadda's writing was done well, the plot was pretty good, and while the book may not be perfect--compared to many others, it's a welcome relief.
The book starts very well.
He was in charge of teaching her how to use weapons, but he was one of the few Templars there are only nine who remembers that Billi is HUMAN, not just a killing machine. Isn't there anything you liked about the book? Kay was one of the weak points of the story though, his character didn't have much character, it chaddda of faded into the background and There was no "What are you thinking?!

She has some amusing lines and cool powers. I honestly feel like this was cjadda attempt to create a Harry Potter-like book for a conservative Christian audience. He wasn't always that way, but after her mother's murder Arthur has never been the same. But despite the epic story, Sarwat Chadda has managed to weave a fantastic family-drama throughout the novel.
As if being a teen wasn't bad enough, she's considered cevils because of her constant bruises and cuts, and the fact that her father was on trial for her mother's murder. Huh, those fallen angels aren't very interesting, are they?
The last test before her initiation. It will take all the Templars to stop this evil before it's too late.
